Huawei is a Chinese multinational technology company making telecommunications equipment and consumer electronics that is headquartered in Shenzhen, China and was founded in 1987 by Ren Zhengfei.
Huawei also offers internet transmission networks, servers, security, business consulting, and global delivery services.
On February 2020, the US government accused the company of spying on individuals through technological “back doors” that were proposed for use by law enforcement only. US authorities stated that Huawei has had this innovation for longer than 10 years. The US government kept this data classified until it began sharing it a year ago with partners like Germany and the UK in an offer to get them to freeze out Huawei devices from their 5G networks.The US has long blamed Huawei for being a channel for Chinese government spying, yet this is the first time it has given insights concerning how it thinks Huawei does this. Huawei has repeatedly denied that it spies for China.
